Durability
The table is made out of MDF, which is what most tables are made out of. What separates one from another is thickness. The thicker the wood, the more durable it is, and anything less than 1" thick is going to be more susceptible to wear and tear.
Because it's not as durable, it costs less, which makes the price of the table cheaper. The concern here with this kind of material is, how long will it last?
Gameplay
One of the key factors when evaluating a foosball table is weight. The heavier the table, the better, because the more stable it will be. The thickness of the sidewall is only 5/8", while higher end models are at least an 1". When playing foosball, the table can shake if it's not very heavy or thick. This affects gameplay, as shaking the table, even if inadvertent, can create an advantage.
The benchmark weight for tables is 125 pounds. Anything less than that is probably going to result in some movement during play.
The standard, full-size foosball table is 56"L x 30"W x 36"H, so this one falls a little short. This might be a good thing however if you don't have enough space for a large one. The lower height could be advantageous if children will be playing with it. However, the table might be low for most adults, and a bigger table would be preferred by experienced players.
The table does come with levelers, which helps if it's placed on a floor that is uneven. This creates a level playing surface and fair play.
Aesthetics
The Playcraft Sport Table has a lot of graphics, which may or may not be a positive, depending on your preference. A customer review on Amazon said that the "foosball decals are not painted its basically wrapped in a giant paper veneer sticker", though he stated that it will probably stay on as long as it's not tampered with. It's available in black or red, which is a nice option for those who would rather have one or the other.
Who's It For?
I would buy this table if it's for children (ages 7-13) and beginners who just want to play casually. It's a good option for those who want a table without breaking the bank. It's also good if you don't really care about longevity. I don't think this table is going to fall apart within a year, but isn't one that you can plan on lasting for a long time either. Then again, for $150, you wouldn't expect it to.
Also consider the aesthetics of the table. Do you prefer a table with graphics? Do you prefer a table with colors, or one that has a wood finish?
