Quality of Build

This mid-price range table looks and feels like a foosball table that has been designed to stand the test of time. Although slightly less heavy than the Kick Triumph model it’s still heavy enough unit that should hold up to the pounding it is sure to take in gameplay. The legs are solid, and the chrome-plated rods that hold the players are strong enough that they are not in any danger of becoming damaged or bent when being used. There are a number of nice touches to be found throughout the design of this foosball table.

The ability to level the legs is a bonus, especially when setting up the table on a carpet or some other uneven surface. Another great touch is the optional cup holders, which you can choose to add or leave off. If you have younger kids, we would suggest taking the time to put them in.

Gameplay

Once you have the table leveled, you will find that gameplay is pretty smooth. There are not any dead spots on the playing field, which is a common issue with foosball tables, and the players are easy to control.

The table comes with a front ball return at either end, making it easy to get back into playing the game after every goal scored. Keeping track of the score is also easy, as there are scoring markers located at both ends of the table. The paintwork on the field itself is bright and bold, and does not wear away after extended playing time. All told, this is a foosball table that plays consistently well every time.

Given the price and the quality of the build, the KICK Royalton 55-Inch Foosball Table is made for intermediate players who are serious about playing the game and having a table that will last. However, the controls and playability of the surface make it just as suitable for kids and beginners.
