Durability
The KICK Galaxy 55" foosball table is one of the most expensive in the KICK range, and arguably the best looking, but more on that later. As far as durability is concerned, its angled legs with cross-section support panels make it a particularly sturdy table which should stand up to the rigours of a overly-competitive foosball game.
The 0.5” thick playing surface board allows for the smooth and true rolling of the foosball ball, whilst the metal counterbalanced players can withstand many years of blasting the ball towards the goal (and having it blasted against them, don’t forget the poor defenders!)

Gameplay
The Galaxy incorporates many of the features which have enabled the KICK brand to become one of the leading manufacturers of foosball tables today. These include the 0.5” game board, the metal counterbalanced men, the 1 or 3 goalie setup, and the semi-solid stainless steel chrome plated rods for fast and reliable gameplay.
Being one of the heavier tables in the range, combined with those angled legs, also means the table won’t move all over the room during normal play, which as anyone who has played on a lightweight table before will know, is a particular annoyance.
Aesthetics
As mentioned at the beginning, the KICK Galaxy is probably one of the best looking tables in the KICK lineup. Of course, this is subjective, and everyone will have differing ideas about what constitutes a visually-appealing foosball table. But with its reddish wood panelling, reddy-pinky coloured rod handles and angled legs, the Galaxy will feature right up there on many player’s lists when it comes to visuals.
The rod handles, with their rounded shape, stir up images of pinball tables in arcades, further enhancing and promoting the concept of gaming, fun and entertainment. Of course, this shape may not be to everyone’s taste, as they do deviate from the more traditional horizontal grips found on the vast majority of other tables, but once gotten used to you will forget the difference in shape.
Who's It For?
The KICK Galaxy can be enjoyed by anybody, but its high price point, durable materials and multitude of features mean it is intended more for the serious player who is willing to spend a bit more on a table which can provide the levels of gameplay they require.
It is a beautiful table, designed to create a visual impression as a piece of furniture and room decor, just as much as it is for playing on. Its vibrant colors and pinball-style rod handles conjure up memories of fun times back in the arcades of yesteryear. Only now, there's no danger of running out of quarters before a champion is crowned.
