Who's It For?

The Kick Emerald tabletop foosball table is aimed primarily at kids, although it is certainly suitable for adults who want a fast tabletop game! At 37" in length, it is slightly bigger than the KICK Squire Tabletop Foosball Table, and may therefore suit slightly older children in comparison to the Squire.

Aesthetics

One of the first things you notice about the Emerald is its visual appearance. In contrast with the Squire’s colourful graphics which, as alluded to above, makes the Squire more appealing for younger kids, the Emerald’s black and silver color scheme makes it a foosball table that looks cool and will be favored more by older children.

The bright green playing surface provides a beautiful contrast to the black and silver side and end walls, which further adds to the visual aesthetics of the KICK Emerald foosball table.

Gameplay

Any tabletop table is never going to compete with a "full" foosball table when it comes to gameplay, at least when it comes to technical ball skills and such like. However, for foosball tables aimed at kids, the number one objective is fun rather than serious play, and fortunately the Emerald delivers this in abundance.

The Emerald table comes with two hard plastic soccer-style foosballs, which produce a fast-paced foosball game that kids will enjoy. Plus, like most other KICK foosball tables, the Emerald comes with the option of playing with 1 or 3 goalies on the rod, depending upon your particular preference.

Durability

Despite its small size and low price tag, the KICK Emerald is certainly not a flimsy table. Many purchasers have commented in reviews that they were pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness, stability and overall weight of the table. It is still easy to carry and transport around, which is one of the main advantages of owning a tabletop foosball table, but weight and sturdiness are important to prevent the table moving all over the place during play and spoiling the game.
